Privacy Policy

What this tool does

U1 Converter converts Bambu Studio .3mf project files to Snapmaker U1 format. It is a free, no-account tool. We do not sell, share, or monetise any data.

Uploaded files

Files you upload are processed automatically. No human reviews your files. Your file is held in temporary storage only for as long as the conversion takes, plus a short window (around five minutes) to allow download. After that it is permanently deleted from the server.

Failed conversions are not retained. The workdir is deleted immediately on any error.

We do not copy, analyse, index, or retain the content of your files beyond what is needed to perform the conversion.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used: page views, feature usage, and general traffic patterns. Google Analytics collects your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser and device type, and session behaviour. Your IP address is not stored by us.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

Cookies & local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish sessions and users. The converter itself uses browser localStorage only to remember your last-selected settings (quality profile, options). No personal information is stored in localStorage.

Server logs

Our server records standard access logs (request path, HTTP status, response size, timestamp). These are used for monitoring and troubleshooting. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted. IP addresses appear in logs transiently but are not linked to individual uploads or user profiles.

Requests are proxied through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata in accordance with their privacy policy.

Copyright & file content

By uploading a file you confirm that you have the right to convert it. U1 Converter is a format conversion tool only. We receive no licence to the content of your file, and we make no claim over any models, designs, or intellectual property contained within it.

We are not responsible for the content of files uploaded by users.
